The Fund is the only philanthropic organization that works directly with school leadership to align investments from private foundations, corporations, businesses, community organizations, and individual donors with strategies that impact student success in Philadelphia's neighborhood public schools.
The team includes experienced nonprofit leaders like Derik Comalli, Vice President of Finance & Operations, who brings nearly 15 years of leadership in finance and operations management, including prior roles managing significant budgets and improving operational efficiency at mission-driven organizations.
The Fund hosts and sponsors a variety of events including the School Resource Academy Pitch Day, Accelerate Philly Awards, the Lindback Awards honoring principals and teachers, back-to-school initiatives, graduation celebrations, and community resource fairs. Recent activities include partnerships with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Operation Snowball for holiday giving.
