HopePHL (pronounced 'hopeful') is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit formed through the integration of People's Emergency Center and Youth Service, Inc., bringing together 120 years of combined service experience. The organization serves over 25,000 community members annually through housing, advocacy, and trauma-responsive social services designed to promote equity, resilience, and well-being for children, youth, families, and communities.

HopePHL helps remove barriers to housing, quality education, economic growth, healthcare, safety, and justice.
HopePHL operates comprehensive programs across five service areas: Adult & Family Services (including family empowerment, housing, and rental assistance), Community Based Services & Community Development (outreach, digital learning, neighborhood services, and food relief), Early Childhood Children's Services (crisis nursery and early learning programs), School Age Children's Services (community schools and truancy intervention), and Youth & Young Adult Services (housing, emergency services, and community navigation). The organization also engages in policy and advocacy work.
HopePHL's Board of Directors includes leaders from major Philadelphia institutions and corporations, with officers Jessie Love-Heckman (Chair, Vanguard), Steve Scaduto (Treasurer, Wipfli), and Tracey Thomasey (Secretary, Survivor Journeys and Neumann University). The board comprises 20+ directors representing healthcare, finance, nonprofit leadership, and community development sectors. A separate Community Development Corporation Board is chaired by Bernadine Hawes.
