Valley Youth House is a nonprofit organization serving young people and families across Pennsylvania who are experiencing foster care, homelessness, housing instability, and related challenges. The organization offers comprehensive programs including emergency services, housing support, life skills training, intervention, and prevention services, along with Camp Fowler. Valley Youth House engages a dedicated board of directors and community supporters to advance its mission of helping youth in need.
Valley Youth House is led by President & Executive Director Thomas R. Harrington. The Board of Directors includes Chair Maura E. Topper (President & CEO, CrossAmerica Partners, LP), Vice-Chair Adrienne Bonser (Global Head of Equity Risk, Vanguard), and other senior business and community leaders. The organization also maintains regional Boards of Governors for Central PA, Lehigh Valley, and Southeast PA, composed of executives, educators, healthcare professionals, and community advocates.
Valley Youth House offers a range of programs and services including Camp Fowler, Emergency Services, Housing, Life Skills/Independent Living, Intervention, and Prevention services. The organization also operates The Prevention Platform to support youth and families across multiple regions.
Valley Youth House hosts several major fundraising events including the Central PA Golf Tournament at Hershey Country Club (2nd Annual scheduled for September 21, 2026), the John E. Walson, Jr. Memorial Golf & Pickleball Tournament at Lehigh Country Club, the Southeast PA Golf Tournament at Union League National Golf Club, and concert events featuring artists like Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart. The 2025 Central PA Golf Tournament raised over $226,000 to support youth and families in the region.
