The staff of approximately 80+ employees is organized into departments including Development & Volunteers, Operations & Finance, Homeowner Services, Build, and ReStore, with specialized roles in construction, project management, homeowner intake, and retail operations.
Habitat Philadelphia offers homeownership programs, home repair services, and volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. They operate the ReStore, a budget-friendly retail shop selling new and gently-used furniture, appliances, and décor, with all profits reinvested into construction and repair work. Additional programs include Pope Leo Village, Young Professionals initiatives, and the Building Hope Luncheon fundraiser.
Upcoming events include Building on Faith (September 18), a hands-on volunteer community building event, and the 2026 Construction Sprint (October 20), a team fundraising challenge where participants build alongside affordable housing advocates. The organization also hosts the annual Building Hope Luncheon, which raised over $780,000 in 2026 to support home building and repair initiatives.
