The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund creates bridges of opportunity, hope, resources, and financial support for families experiencing hardship related to their child living with a diagnosis, illness, or injury. Entering their 50th year, the organization has raised over $10 million and supported more than 45,000 families across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, while also providing educational resources and advocacy to families nationwide.
The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund lightens the burdens and lifts the spirits of families caring for children living with serious and chronic illnesses, conditions, or injuries. We provide financial assistance and direct support for needs not covered by insurance and a variety of respite programs for families residing in or children receiving care in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. We also advocate for and provide educational resources to families nationwide.
The organization gauges its impact through the experiences of the families it serves. The Dolan Fund was founded by Peggy Dolan, who served as Executive Director from 1976 to 2016 and received numerous humanitarian awards for her decades of service to families with children facing serious health challenges.
The team includes Executive Director Danielle Scott Griffith, M.S.W., L.S.W., who brings over 25 years of social work experience and personal insight from raising a daughter with a rare chromosomal disorder. The staff also includes Linda Bean (Community Engagement Manager), Lauren Van Buren and Kara McClain (Program Managers), Thomas Hart (Communications and Fundraising Manager), and Latoya Jessamy-King (Accountant). The Board of Directors includes President Jen Lawn and members with expertise in law, education, nursing, accounting, and philanthropy.
The organization offers financial assistance for needs not covered by insurance, respite programs for families, support groups, family fun days, resources and advocacy, and holiday programs including HOPE for the Holidays – Adopt-A-Family. Programs serve families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
The Dolan Fund hosts signature events including the Dance Fitness Party (June 16, 2026) and the 50th Celebration – Foodies and Philanthropy (October 9, 2026) at Lilah in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia.
